Fostering Hope
BFam: Family Advocacy Ministry
We come alongside foster and adoptive families, providing the resources, encouragement, and community they need to thrive at home. God’s Word compels us to step forward, lock arms, and defend the fatherless in our community and world.
“Learn to do good; seek justice. Defend the oppressed. Take up the cause of the fatherless.” (Isaiah 1:17)
A Nationwide Crisis
We believe the body of Christ is uniquely positioned to bring hope to vulnerable children and the families who care for them. Whether by fostering, adopting, supporting families, or advocating for change, we can be part of the solution. Through practical support, relational care, and spiritual encouragement, we help ensure no family walks this journey alone.

WAYS TO GET INVOLVED
Future Foster Families
We would like to foster or provide respite care.
Every child deserves a safe, loving home—and you can be part of the solution. Whether you feel called to foster, adopt, or support families through respite care, your role can make a lasting impact. Foster families provide stability and love during a child’s most vulnerable moments, while respite care offers much-needed breaks to those on the frontlines. You don’t have to do it alone—we’re here to walk with you every step of the way. Take the next step and learn how you can make a difference in a child’s life today!
For Foster Families
We are a foster family, and would love support.
Fostering is a beautiful calling, but it can also be overwhelming. That’s why we believe every foster family deserves a community of support. Through our Wrap Ministry, we surround foster families with practical help, encouragement, and prayer—whether it’s through providing meals, babysitting, running errands, or simply being a listening ear. If you’re a foster family in need of support, we’re here to walk alongside you so you can focus on loving and caring for the children in your home.
Support Foster Families
Become a part of our WRAP Community
WRAP is a ministry of volunteers that exists to serve Bethany Christian Church foster, guardianship and kinship families through words of encouragement, respite care, acts of service and prayer. Fostering can be challenging, and without support, 50% of foster families stop fostering after the first year or their first placement. However, with the right community, that number shifts dramatically—WRAP ministries have been shown to help retain up to 90% of foster families by ensuring they feel supported. Together, we can help make fostering sustainable.
Pray for foster Families
You can make a difference by praying
Foster families need more than just physical support—they need prayer warriors standing in the gap for them. By raising your hand as a prayer warrior, you’ll commit to lifting up foster parents, children in care, and those considering fostering or adoption. Your prayers can bring strength, peace, and encouragement to families navigating the challenges and joys of this journey. Whether you pray individually, with your family, or as part of a group, your faith-filled intercession makes a difference.
